User Policies (Short Version)
By using Rediafile.com, you agree to abide by all our policies listed here. Last updated: January 2026
1. Introduction
This Data Retention Policy outlines the practices of Rediafile regarding the retention, management, and deletion of account holder information in accordance with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Rediafile is committed to safeguarding your privacy and operational efficiency through responsible data handling.
2. Data Collection Philosophy
Rediafile prioritizes your privacy and does not engage in any tracking activities. Our focus is on providing you with enhanced data storage, sharing, and accessibility. To achieve this, we strive to gather only the essential information needed to improve your user experience across our website, mobile applications, and affiliated platforms.

5. Abandoned Accounts
To maintain service quality for active users, Rediafile may remove data from accounts classified as abandoned. An account is classified as abandoned if:
- Free Registered Accounts: No access to the account occurs within an eight (8) month period.
- Free Unregistered Accounts: Considered abandoned after fourteen (14) days of inactivity.
- Paid Accounts: Such as Personal, Professional, and Business, are never considered inactive as long as an active subscription is maintained.
Rediafile will issue two (2) email notifications (an initial and final notice) within a 15-day period if an account is deemed abandoned, urging the user to access their account. Accessing the account through any Rediafile platform or service will prevent account removal.
6. Downgraded Accounts – Premium to Free
When a premium user downgrades to a free account, the free storage limit applies immediately. If the user's data exceeds the new storage limit, the excess data may be subject to deletion. It is the user’s responsibility to manage their data proactively to avert data loss.
7. Content Retention
Rediafile retains content indefinitely for both Free registered and unregistered accounts not classified as abandoned as per Section 5. Content within paid accounts (Personal, Professional, and Business) is also retained indefinitely.
Rediafile provides a grace period for recovering deleted files—even after emptying the Trash folder. This retention permits users to recover files mistakenly deleted. Once the retention period for deleted files has lapsed, Rediafile will securely permanently delete the content.
8. User Deleted Files
Files deleted by users (i.e., emptied from the Trash folder) will generally be retained for up to three (3) weeks (21 days) from the date the Trash was emptied. Exceptions to this policy may occur on a case-by-case basis, as dictated by legal requirements or as determined solely by Rediafile. After the 21-day period, recovery of such files may not be possible.
9. Enforcement and Changes
Rediafile retains the right to modify this Data Retention Policy at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or prominent notices on our platforms.
10. Contact Information
For questions or concerns regarding this Data Retention Policy, users may contact Rediafile's customer service team for assistance.
