1. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
Rediafile fully assists and cooperates with law enforcement agencies in their efforts to investigate and
prosecute illegal acts. This cooperation includes providing necessary information as permitted under applicable
laws.
2. Requirements for Obtaining Available Information
Requests for information from law enforcement agencies must comply with the following requirements, as
dictated by applicable U.S. law, as well as relevant legal standards in Canada and the United Kingdom:
a. All requests must be submitted on official agency letterhead;
b. Requests must provide sufficient information to identify and contact the individual requesting the information;
c. Requests must include the URL of the content associated with the account holder;
d. Requests must explicitly state which specific information is required;
e. Requests must be signed by an identifiable representative of a U.S. or foreign government agency.
Upon receipt of a valid request, Rediafile can provide information as outlined in Table 1 in the "Data Storage
and Retention" section.
3. Preservation of Information
Requests for preservation of information must adhere to the same requirements outlined in Section 2 of this
policy. Preservation requests will be maintained for a period of ninety (90) days, unless an extension or
different duration is specifically requested in the preservation request. The scope of available information is
detailed in Table 1 of the "Data Storage and Retention" section.
4. Jurisdiction
Rediafile responds to all requests that are made under valid legal processes in compliance with U.S. law.
Requests for account holder information from Canadian and United Kingdom law enforcement agencies are
considered and addressed on a case-by-case basis. Foreign legal requests may require submission through
the U.S. Department of Justice under a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty. For more detailed information, please
refer to applicable laws.
